The Performance
Off Road
Story
At Performance Off Road, we don’t just sell parts, we live this life. It all started with Billy, learning how to tow cars & wrenching on trucks before he could even drive, by high school, their shop had turned into a proving ground, where every guy in town brought their trucks to get lifted and test who's car could go the fastest down hwy 401. Day or night, rain or shine, Billy was under a hood or tightening a suspension even in his own driveway at times. And in 1999, he turned that passion into a full-fledged shop.
But Billy doesn’t just build and fix vehicles he races them to. He’s tackled the King of the Hammers 4400 class, battled through qualifying races across the country, and sent it in the legendary Baja 1000 more than once. He’s conquered the Best in the Desert series, charging through Vegas to Reno, the Mint 400, and the Parker 400. And if you’ve ever wheeled Uwharrie, you might’ve heard the legend of the lifted Ford Excursion that nearly tamed Daniel Trail—that was Billy, just feet from the finish before breaking down. His picture’s still up there, a testament to his relentless drive.
Billy doesn’t just eat, sleep, and breathe off-road—his blood might as well be made of dirt and race fuel. He gives 110% to every build, ensuring every customer gets a rig that’s done right the first time. His heart is in this business, and it shows.
And it’s not just Billy. This passion runs deep through his family and crew, a tight-knit group of off-road junkies who know that when we’re not working to make the company better, we’re out tearing up the trails in our side-by-sides at the local off-road park.
Whether you're looking for top-tier parts, expert service, or just a place where people get what off-roading is all about, you’re in the right spot.
Performance Off Road isn’t just a business—it’s a way of life.
