Falken AKLIMATE 215/65R17 99H Tire
The Falken AKLIMATE 215/65R17 is the 99H version with SL (Standard Load). This is an all-weather touring road tire for compatible cars, minivans, crossovers and SUVs. Shoulder-block 3D Canyon sipes add traction edges, while Canyon Grooves support snow traction and a comfortable ride. Its compound and optimized sipe depths balance wet handling, snow traction and tread life.
This size uses 17-inch wheels with approved rim widths of 6-7.5 inches. Falken specifies a 28.4-inch overall diameter and 8.7-inch overall width on the 6.5-inch measuring rim, with 11/32 inch of new tread.
The maximum single-tire load is 1,709 lb and maximum cold pressure is 51 psi. These limits do not establish vehicle fitment or recommended operating pressure. Confirm the complete size, load and speed requirements, wheel compatibility and clearance with a qualified installer.

UTQG: 640 A A. The treadwear grade is comparative and does not predict tire life. Falken lists a 65,000-mile limited tread-life warranty for eligible replacement tires. The limited tread-life warranty is a prorated credit for eligible normal-highway use, subject to even wear and the complete policy. Keep purchase, mileage and rotation records; rotate at least every 5,000 miles or sooner if uneven wear develops. Rear tires in staggered fitments receive 50% of the stated mileage coverage. Commercial service, abusive use, off-road use and other exclusions can invalidate tread-life coverage.
Falken offers a limited materials and workmanship warranty for eligible replacement tires. Its January 2025 policy applies to 2025-or-newer production for the usable original tread, ending at 2/32 inch remaining, within six years of manufacture. A qualifying defect during the first 2/32 inch of wear can receive a comparable replacement; later covered claims receive prorated credit. Earlier production follows earlier policies. Coverage is nontransferable and requires the original purchaser and original vehicle, correct installation and inflation, maintenance, and inspection by an authorized Falken dealer. Misuse, improper inflation, racing and other listed exclusions are not covered. Check the policy applicable to the tire’s DOT production date.
Eligible replacement tires have Falken road-hazard protection in the U.S. and Canada for qualifying unrepairable damage within two years of purchase or the first 3/32 inch of wear, whichever comes first. Proof of purchase is required; without it, the two-year limit is based on manufacture date. Original-equipment tires are excluded. Authorized-dealer inspection and all program conditions apply. Mounting, balancing, disposal, valves, service charges and taxes are not covered.
