Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail 255/55R18 Tire
Part 28712845 is the 255/55R18 Wildpeak A/T Trail in 109V XL specification. It combines Falken’s crossover-oriented all-terrain design with a measured 28.9-inch diameter and 10.5-inch width on an 8.0-inch rim.
The manufacturer approves 7.0-9.0-inch-wide wheels and publishes 11/32-inch tread depth. Its maximum single load is 2,271 lb, while approximate tire weight is 37.5 lb. Use the exact measurements and service description to check the whole wheel-and-tire setup before treating another 255/55R18 as an equivalent replacement.

Fitment & Installation
Match the complete tire size, load index, speed rating and approved wheel-width range to the vehicle, wheel and intended load. Check body, suspension and brake clearance through steering and suspension travel before mounting. A qualified installer should set cold inflation using the vehicle placard and actual load; the tire maximum is a rated limit, not a daily pressure recommendation. Never exceed vehicle axle or payload ratings. Ply rating describes load strength, not a literal sidewall-ply count. Ask POR to check the complete setup before ordering. Never mix tire sizes, constructions or types on an axle except for temporary spare use. Underinflation or overloading can cause tire failure and serious injury. Changes in overall diameter can affect handling, braking and rollover behavior.

Manufacturer Warranty
Falken lists a 65,000-mile limited tread-life warranty for this non-LT Wildpeak A/T Trail variant. Coverage is conditional and prorated for normal highway use. Original-purchaser eligibility, proof of purchase and maintenance records apply. Tires must be rotated at least every 5,000 miles, or earlier if wear is uneven. Eligible staggered rear fitments receive half the usual mileage coverage.
Exclusions include improper inflation, overloading, installation damage, irregular wear, off-road damage and commercial use under the tread-life warranty. Road-hazard benefits have separate time, wear and eligibility limits; mounting, balancing, taxes and related fees are excluded. Production date determines the applicable warranty version.
Review Falken warranty terms for complete coverage and exclusions.
