Toyo Proxes Sport 245/40ZR19 98(Y) Tire
The Toyo Proxes Sport 245/40ZR19 pairs the 98(Y) service description with XL (Extra Load). Performance summer road tire for sports cars, sedans and compatible SUV/crossover applications. Its asymmetric tread places cornering support at the outside, braking and acceleration functions at the center, and stability features toward the inside. A silica tread compound supports wet and dry grip, while tapered tread elements and rib shaping help distribute contact pressure. Intended for suitable warm-weather wet and dry road use; select winter tires for snow or icy conditions.
Toyo specifies an approved rim-width range of 8-9.5 inches on 19-inch wheels for this size. On the 8.5-inch measuring rim, the published inflated dimensions are 26.7 inches in diameter and 9.8 inches wide. New tread depth is 9.3/32 inch.
Maximum single-tire load is 1,653 lb; the listed maximum inflation pressure is 50 psi. Confirm load, speed, wheel compatibility and clearance with a qualified installer. Set operating pressure from the vehicle placard and applicable load/inflation guidance.
